As the blog for Lionness Photography, this space felt like a natural extension of the name and the meaning behind it. Every lion has a den, and this is where I share mine. My name is Alexandria but most call me Ria and I'm so happy you're here. Within this blog I plan to share the stories, inspiration, and moments behind my work.
Choosing the name Lionness Photography was part of defining who I am, not just as a photographer, but as a person. The lioness embodies growth, resilience, and leadership. Those values are exactly what shaped the name and how I approach life. To me, the lioness is more than a symbol of strength. She represents quiet power, intuition, and the ability to protect what matters most. She moves with purpose, adapts to her surroundings, and leads through action rather than noise. That spirit is woven into my work: capturing honest moments, honoring individuality, and creating images that feel both powerful and authentic. Lionness Photography is a reflection of that energy, intentional, grounded, and fearless in its own way.
The Den is a space created with intention and warmth, where I can share the thoughts, stories, and experiences that live behind the lens. The Den is named with purpose, just as a lioness’s den is a place of protection, care, and growth, this space is where ideas and stories are nurtured.
